School magazine

·         How does your prelim represent particular social groups?
My work represents a genral social group by including all sorts of students, male & female and a plain mixed social group, there is no particular grouping for my magazine as it includes very broad topic discussions and news. It is more of a fun magazine to read rather than a factual/seriouse magazine.
·         Who would be the intended audience for your product?
Students at lutterworth college.
·         How did you attract/ address your audience?
I have used bright colours, relating to a very popular topic (christmas) will help attract a reader as everyone knows about it and enjoys it.
·         What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
I have learnt how to use photoshop to enhance and edit pictures, add layers etc.

Magazine cover models. Z

These are two magazine covers for Da Vibe and another magazine (i can't really see the name) but still they are good representations of the 'Z' shape model for magazine covers, The Z shape zig zags across the page, drawing your eye from one sub heading to another or dragging your eye from the title and through the picture to the sub heading at the bottom often on the right. This is an effective way to fill a page with sub headings and brief acrtical snippits, or two show a full page 'mid-shot'.

Magazine cover models. F

Here are two magazine covers from Rolling Stone magazine and Vogue magaznine, these magazine follow the 'F' shape model as it is an attractive way to layout a front cover page for a magazine. Natually the eye gets drawn to the left hand side of the page so if your writing is on the left hand side and your immage in the centre, you can have an effective and attractive front cover piece.

About me and my style.

I am into Hip-Hop, dance and indie music, i have a wide variety in what i listen to ranging from old school 90's hip-hop to the modern hip-hop scene, the old rock anthems to the newer indie genre. I have learnt to appreciate all of the styling of music and your image is what you are mainly portraid by, it doesn't matter if you dress in baggy clothing or skin tight clothes, we are all different in our own ways.
In my college there is a wide variety in the styles between different social group.
I am into skateboarding, and music very much so, my favrouite artists are Big sean, Wiz Khalifa and many other similar artists, but these two both stand out to me as Big sean is a role model, he came out of one of the roughest cities in america and has collaborated with some huge massive names in the hip-hop industry such as kanye west

He is  inspired by famouse rappers such as biggie and pac as they were so influentiol in the hip-hop scene, he wishes to follow in there steps and as an upcoming rapper he has pottential.

I am into skateboarding and value the life style and corrismer of skaters as it is still an illegal sport on the streets, there are not enough street plaza's for skaters to use, there are a few parks spotted around britain but mainly made poorly by an old council worker thinking that they designed a 'hip' place to skate and hang out. It is a hard sport to get into without getting in trouble.
